4 advices to start selling online

Writer: 4PSite 4PSite

In 2025, 4Psite proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary! We plan to mark this milestone with enthusiasm throughout the year. Having built a strong foundation of credibility and a loyal client base, we also want to highlight four advices in order to help businesses refine their processes.

4Psite is a perfect fit for businesses of all sizes, from small, family-run operations to large multi-channel brands. With this in mind, where should we begin, and how can you make the most of your business?

Here is our list, with 3 topics that you should pay attention to:

1 - Don't start "big"

Listing is a great thing when you are already used to the game. For starters, go for the carts that are simpler for you to set up alone. Another advantage is that usually, channels like Shopify and Turbify have simpler connectivities when you centralize your sales on an order management system.

2 - Don't use different codes/skus

Define your codes and hold them close to your heart. Of course, order management systems are prepared to transform and convert, but it is peaceful when you don't need to complete extra steps - if your skus/codes match in all of your channels it will be time saving!

3 - Put yourself out there

In addition to having your products on several channels, it is important that people know your brand and products. Invest in marketing and see how things can make a difference. Of course, you can always post yourself. Go big or go small, it doesn't matter - whether you are posting some complex reels on instagram or just regular pics that you've taken, the main thing is to be known. Let people find the products they are looking for - if you're lucky, they might not even need to look for your products, they just show up on their phones! The algorithm can be your ally!

4 - Use an OMS

An order management system is a huge help whether you have only one store or various. Streamlining your processes and having your entire operation visually centered is gonna save you so much time and trouble. By automating a few tasks you also avoid human errors -- and that can also spare you some money at the end of the month. Having a principal hub to go full cycle is an intelligent solution to get better results.

How do you feel about our collected advice? Are you ready to take on the next phase of your business?
